The Hundertwasser Checklist

If you collect Hundertwasser stamps or want to start, you can't get around knowing both the Michel and the Scott numbers. After all, some dealers only know the one or the other.

It is worth noting, however, that Scott has done a poor job cataloging the stamps from Cape Verde. Although neither catalog provides accurate prices, at least Michel has all their facts straight.

  1. This stamp, with no overprint, may or may not have been officially released - opinions seem to differ. Scott does not even mention the fact that copies without overprints do exist and are in circulation among collectors.

  2. Scott does not differentiate between the two types (one with a lighter hulk), even though they were issued as two unique stamps.

  3. Scott dates these as being issued on 25 April 1986
